Welcome to Babylon Reef, a freshly renovated oceanfront villa, complete with a sundeck and private pool, situated directly on one of the best shallow snorkeling sites on the entire island. Protected by a coral reef, there are rarely any currents or waves to contend with so children can play in the shallows all day.
The ocean views are stunning the moment you walk through the front door. Natural light and scenic ocean views flood the entire living area through the sunroom's retractable glass doors which can be opened to allow a breeze to flow through on days when air conditioning is unnecessary.
Cute Caribbean architecture and a modern open concept design lend a great "island feel" throughout.
A full kitchen complete with modern appliances overlooks the dining area with seating for 6. An outdoor dining table off the pool deck and under tall palm trees is also available. All cookware, glassware, cutlery, and flatware is provided.

- Primary Suite: lower-level, king bed, ocean views, walk-out access to the sunroom, ensuite with shower.
- Bedroom 1: upper-level, king bed, ocean views, shares hall bathroom equipped with a shower bath.
- Bedroom 2: upper-level, two twin beds, ocean views, shares hall bathroom equipped with a shower bath; beds can be fitted into a king bed upon request.
Babylon Reef's private, well-landscaped lot includes a white picket fence, soft zoysia grass lawns, and a large sandy backyard around the pool. The owner provides a cornhole set on the beach complete with boards and bean bags plus 2 tandem kayaks for exploring, beach hammocks for relaxing, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold running water.
With an empty lot on each side, Babylon Reef is a private and secluded retreat. The beach can be both sandy and pebbly depending on the time of year, therefore, we advise guests to bring pool shoes to avoid foot injuries.
Two large resorts with water sports, manicured sandy beaches, and oceanfront bars and restaurants are just a short 10-minute drive east.

Babylon Reef has the best backyard snorkeling on the entire island!
Just east of famous Connally's Cove, Babylon Reef has shallow snorkeling where no fins are really needed, but you should still wear pool shoes. The beach here can be sandy and pebbly, depending on the time of year and mother nature.
The owner maintains a sandy beach inside the white picket fence above the shoreline for sunbathing, beach games, and lounging in the hammock under the palm trees.
There are two large resorts 10 minutes to the east, as well as restaurants, water sports, shopping, and a grocery store.
Tukka Restaurant will even send their van for door-to-door service if you don't feel like driving to dinner!

The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.
Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.

The nicest villa we\'ve stayed in!
Babylon Reef was the perfect villa for us and the nicest one we\'ve stayed in since we began coming to Cayman many years ago. This was our seventh trip to the island. The villa is spacious, clean, and comfortable, very private, well-equipped with everything from pool toys (we added four pool noodles to the collection) to paper goods, cool, and welcoming. The open concept--living, dining, and kitchen--made the downstairs light and airy. Our guest stayed upstairs and the only issue for her was the shower, which would suddenly run very hot and then turn cool and then warm. But she loved the space she had up there. The washer and dryer work very well and there were plenty of towels as well as hotel-size shampoo, soap, etc. There were shelves of books, many of which are probably left by visitors (including us) and reading by and swimming in the pool was our favorite activity. In past years we have visited the Botanical Garden, the Turtle Centre, Stingray City, Starfish Point, etc. We stayed on Seven Mile Beach years ago, but we prefer the quiet of the North Side, where there is little traffic and no crowds.
We spent the days by the pool or driving down to Rum Point to have a cocktail at the new beach club. One of us snorkeled at Rum Point and at Stingray City. The water was rough every day in front of the villa and the narrow beach is mostly seaweed and coral covered, but it made for a beautiful view from the villa. If you want to swim in the ocean the little beach at Rum Point is minutes away and snorkeling there is good, providing glimpses of turtles, rays, and fish. Restaurants in the area are few but great, with our favorites being Italian Kitchen (excellent!) Tukka (make sure you\'re there at 5 p.m. to see the feeding of the frigate birds), and Over the Edge. We had a truly relaxing stay in a perfect villa.
Everything We Were Looking For
Babylon Reef was everything we were looking for in a Caribbean house. The location was fantastic and both kids exclaimed it was the best house we have ever stayed in. Usually we visit a different beach every day, but we had so much to do near the house we ended up hanging around the house for 3 of the days. Thank you so much for the hospitality, the house was more than equipped for a comfortable stay and the updated bathrooms were a nice surprise. Thanks again!

Fabulous vacation home
This house was amazing and exactly what we wanted. Be aware it is on the quiet Northside of the island but with a rental car, it is an easy drive to restaurants at Kaibo, Rum Point and the East End. We loved that there were no neighbors and basically had the beach to ourselves. The view is unbelievable right out the back windows. Snorkeling great in the backyard but if it was windy, an easy drive to the calmer south side solved the problem. Home was very clean, very well stocked and not stripped-bare as many rental homes are.

This property lived up to all the reviews we saw. All the amenities were really good as well as the amazing views. The pool was also great to be in when the sea was rough.
Great Place!
I thought the property was very nice! we were pleased with the amenities that it had. the outside deck area was very nice and the pool was wonderful! We really liked the overall view of the water from the deck, even though the water was too rough to go snorkling. Maybe next time we come down we\'ll try it again. Overall, the whole stay was excellent!

Babylon Reef was the best appointed, best located, and hardest to leave VRBO home we have stayed in. The views are stunning, the pool is clean and refreshing, and the snorkeling you can do right off your beach is spectacular. We were often the only people we could see on the beach and in the ocean. For my family if 6, it was a vacation we will never forget. The house has EVERYTHING! Games, books, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, a grill, pool toys, bikes for kids, greatly appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, along with all cleaning supplies. We spent evenings playing games and watching Disney+. The best family time we have had with our kids in a long time - ages 15,13,11, and 6. The north side of island was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet and slow. You are limited on restaurants and you will need to rent a vehicle for your stay here. This was well worth it however. We felt like we had our own personal island. We cooked breakfasts and lunches and traveled out for dinner. We highly recommend Tukka and Kaibo. Kaibo for coffee in the morning was the best if you have Starbucks kids. I hate giving such a glowing review because we’d love to keep Babylon Reef a secret. We will be back.

Amazing Property
Overall, Babylon Reef is an amazing property. Set on the north side of the island, it is a perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet while taking in spectacular ocean views. My family and I spent 10 tens at Babylon Reef. The home is well equipped and functional. We enjoy cooking, the cookware (pots, pans, skillets) are in need of updating, same for glass ware (drinking glasses, cups). The outside grill was clean and fully functional, enjoyed using it several times while we were there. The house was very clean, and in excellent shape when we arrived. Fully functional air conditioning and several ceiling fans throughout. You will never be hot. Brand new washing machine. Dryer unit fully functional. We used both units several times. We rate the house 5 stars. The amazing views every morning out of the master bedroom and off the pool deck makes the house a first-class experience. Pool was fantastic, a highlight for all of us!! Our family loved the house and all it had to offer; we would certainly stay at Babylon Reef again. Thanks for the great communication by Ola, the on prem property manager. Don\'t miss out on this one.
Babylon Reef Amazing Property (May 13-20, 2023)
Babylon Reef is an amazing property! Just had one of the best family trips of our lives. It is a nice sized house with a beautiful outdoor space. The pool area is great to lounge around and just a few steps to the ocean which is the most beautiful clear blue. Snorkeling right off the beach is amazing and you will see such a variety of sea life and coral. The kitchen area is great and has anything you need. The abundance of beach towels and beach chairs was appreciated. We also enjoyed the various books about the island and the puzzles. The privacy of the home was amazing. We basically had the beach to ourselves. It's a short drive to some great restaurants. Love the location. Highly recommend Babylon Reef.

Paradise Found!
Our family of 4 had the most enjoyable stay at Babylon Reef. The house is set on a beautiful piece of property and waking up each day to the view was like being in paradise! This is a place to relax, lay by a pool, snorkel, cook good meals, and play games. This house is in a non touristy area which is what we preferred but with a 30-45 minute drive we could do any excursion we’d like and then return to the peace of Babylon Reef! Very close to Rum Point where you can get on an excursion to Sting Ray City which was a favorite activity for our family.

Babylon Reef
Our stay at Babylon Reef was great. The house was just as advertised and has everything one needs for a relaxing vacation.
The pool area is large and the beach area adequate although you need beach shoes due to the rocks and shells. You have total privacy as there is no development on either side. Stores and restaurants are close by so you never have to drive very far. I highly recommend Babylon Reef for 2 couples or a family.
Amazing stay!
What a fantastic week we had at Babylon Reef! We were enchanted from the moment we stepped into the villa with its magnificent view of the Caribbean and sparkling pool. We snorkeled on the calm days and were rewarded with an abundance of coral, colorful fish, and the occasional stingray. We didn’t take out the kayaks because the water was too choppy. The villa was very well-equipped and easy to cook in. Plenty of room for the 6 of us to relax. It was a perfect setup with Grandma and Grandpa downstairs in the master suite and the grandkids and parents upstairs in the other two bedrooms. The grounds were lovely and very private. We enjoyed the quiet ambiance of the Northside. A car is necessary. It was a quick drive to reach the beach at Rum Point or Bodden Town. We enjoyed all the reading material available in the villa. The pool was a big hit especially for our grandsons aged 6 and 3.
Ola was terrific and answered all questions regarding our stay.
We highly recommend staying at Babylon Reef if you enjoy a peaceful and quiet environment.
Didn't Want to Leave
Babylon Reef proved to be the perfect spot for a quiet getaway: a beautiful and well appointed villa with plenty of privacy, a beach in the backyard and an inviting pool to enjoy a cooling dip. We easily made ourselves at home on the first day, and only left the property a few times to enjoy local eateries and a visit to Rum Point. The weather provided plentiful sunshine, with a few warm thunderstorms tossed in for variety. The property management company was responsive to the only one (and very minor) issue we had which was quickly remedied. This is one of those vacation homes we know we will return to - leaving after close to two weeks was not easy!
Dream Vacation
Our nearly two week stay at Babylon Reef has been simply amazing. The house had everything we needed, and more. Well appointed with comfortable beds, linens, plentiful bath and beach towels, paper supplies, to name a few. We’ve enjoyed our stay at the villa so much that we didn’t venture out too often! We did enjoy Over the Edge, Tukka and Kaibo for delicious lunches and superb service. The beach out front is beautiful and the water heavenly. Check-in was simple and Silver Thatch responded immediately with a good kayak when informed that the ones on the property weren’t usable (just need simple repairs). Babylon Reef exceeded our expectations, and we’ve vacationed in plenty of homes in the past. Thank you for sharing this beautiful villa with us, and we do plan to return. Our first visit to Grand Cayman has definitely been a dream vacation.
Pleasureful Vacation
This house checked all the boxes for us! It was private and secluded, ample space, clean and modern and had a lot for the kids to do. There was swimming, kayaking, SUP, bean bag toss, and lots of games/puzzles/toys. Ola was a pleasure to work with. We would stay here again!
Perfect Getaway
My wife and I decided on the spur of the moment to switch our plans and head back to Grand Cayman for a week. We debated where to stay and ultimately decided on Babylon Reef based on the pictures and a recommendation from GCV. The villa was absolutely perfect. We much prefer the east side of the island, and the location was close to our favorite restaurants and diving. The villa itself was very comfortable and the views were spectacular. We appreciated the supplied games and kayaks and took full advantage of snorkeling right out the back. Finally, the owners have been very thoughtful in how the villa is stocked, my wife and I love to cook (yes, even on vacation) and we have never experienced a property that was better stocked for preparing amazing meals. We truly look forward to getting back to Babylon Reef, we may even bring the kids next time.
Fantastic Time!
My husband and I came to spend our 4th wedding anniversary and we are already counting down the days till we come back. The cleanliness, the roominess, the amenities were all perfect. The pool was fantastic and it was so easy to use the kayaks, speakers, everything. You don’t even need to borrow them from the rental company. The air conditioning was perfect. We had a fantastic time. We hated to leave

Top of Our List
Second time here and consistently great. Wonderful home with immaculate grounds. We are horticulture buffs and this place is like going to a garden show. Very private and quiet. If you are looking for the wild side, this is not the place and you should stay on the west end. Here you will relax, unwind and recharge with everything you need to accomplish that. The best snorkeling around is right out back. Thanks to the owners for keeping the place up, and thanks to the team at GCV for making it easy.

The family loved our stay at Babylon Reef! From the moment we walked through the door and saw the amazing ocean view, we knew it would be a vacation to remember. The location there on the north side was quiet but not too far away to hit all the things we wanted to do. 10/10 would recommend.

Babylon Reef was a Caribbean dream home with amazing snorkeling out back and provided everything we needed for our 9-day stay. Quarantine Paradise
Wow is the only word I can describe my stay at Babylon Reef for 15 days! From Scott helping me navigate from booking to departure, the beautiful grounds, fabulous beds and everything in between Babylon Reef for quarantine or vacation is such a perfect property. I hope to return with family or friends to enjoy the snorkeling, kayaks and the beach as in quarantine it was from the inside of the fence but you still woke up daily with a view to ease the pain. The manager on island and Scott were readily available to help with any issues. Great communication from them. Thanks again and again can’t say enough about Babylon Reef

Babylon Reef - Amazing Views
The pictures on GCV does not do this property justice. The property is very comfortable and the view is beautiful. The house has every single thing you can think about (even fishing lines)! Beds are comfy and the pool and back deck is just beautiful. Ola, the property manager, is super responsive and very helpful.
Beautiful home on the beach!
Enjoyed a New Years visit to Babylon Reef. Loved the home. Great open main floor plan with lots of room to relax and play games. Outdoor deck and pool area is perfect. Really nice sized pool, plenty of room to play games and swim. Kitchen was well equipped and home came with ample paper supplies. Snorkeling was great right out behind the home. Location is great and it\'s about a 10 minute drive to the East End and about 15 minutes to Rum Point. We would love to come back and stay here again. We had no problems at all with this home over a week long period. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Three Generations In One Vacation
We loved Babylon reef! We had three generations vacationing together at the house and it was perfect. We loved the pool and the beautiful view. The house was well maintained and beautiful.

Our family of 4 stayed a week at Babylon Reef in July. We have rented many beach houses over the years, but this one stands out as our favorite!
House: Décor is beachy but not over the top - perfect beach house. Nearly every day of our stay I noticed a new detail in the décor that I hadn\'t seen before, and loved them all. The house is spacious & open, with plenty of room to spread out. The master bedroom is downstairs while the other bedrooms are upstairs, providing some separation. Both bathrooms have plenty of space as well, and the master shower is beautiful. (Tip: If you leave the bathroom door open, you can see out to the ocean while you shower.) All furniture inside and outside is very comfortable, and I especially loved sitting on the sun room couch each morning looking out at the water!
Kitchen: Spacious and had everything we needed, except kitchen towels. Great blender.
Pool: Gorgeous, and best of all, refreshing! Even with temps around 90 degrees F, the water was still cool.
Beach: Rocky, as are all beaches on the north side, but great snorkeling straight out from the house!
Other: Plenty of bath towels & beach towels. The foozball table, cornhole game, kayaks and pool floats are fun extras. Check-in/check-out process is simple. Joss was friendly & helpful when he met us at the house upon arrival. I was concerned at first when the thermostat couldn\'t be set below 76 (we are used to 70), but it turns out we were perfectly comfortable.
Activities: Chartered a half-day sail with Sail With Friends and it was the highlight of our trip. Wonderful crew and boat! Rum Point is always fun, and Starfish Point is a neat area, but check the cruise ship schedules before you go, as both get very crowded mid-day when cruise ships are in port.
Restaurants: Wreck Bar at Rum Point has great drinks & good lunch. We also enjoyed lunch at Mimi\'s at Morritt\'s resort (situated on a dock over the water). Dinners at Tukka and Over the Edge were excellent. Kaibo BBQ is fun.
Postcard View
The minute we stepped into Babylon Reef we knew our vacation was going to be stellar! The view is nothing short of a post card photo! In fact, the photos don’t do the actual view justice. The villa is so comfortable! All six of us piled up on the sofa and watched scary shark movies in the late evenings. The grounds are lush and beautiful. The sea grape trees on the lots next door hosts green parrots. The hammock.... well let’s just say there were lots of naps in that hammock! The most fabulous reef is just steps into the ocean. Even if you don’t snorkel you can see the reef while kayaking through the crystal clear water. We found all kinds of shells and coral on the shore line. We cooked the first four days and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house was spotless upon arrival and we always felt extremely safe. This villa and island is now our favorite vacation spot! We highly recommend Babylon Reef!
Home Away from Home
Fourth time to Grand Cayman - first at Babylon Reef! Our family of 6 spent a week at Babylon Reef after an exhausting search for the perfect home! We found that home in Babylon Reef. The owners obviously take great care in their home as shown by the high quality and condition of the home - very clean and crisp, updated, large living area, large glassed in porch, huge pool and pool deck. pool toys, kayaks and games. Bedrooms are big enough, comfortable. Snorkeling is fantastic. Kayaked and swam daily. Favorite restaurants - Tukka, Taco Cantina, Lighthouse. Favorite activities - snorkeling, swimming, beach walks, Stingray Charter, crystal caves. Guarantee we will be back soon!

We enjoyed our stay on Grand Cayman at Babylon Reef. This home is beautiful, crisp, clean and well maintained. Nice kitchen fully equipped. Large living area. Bedrooms were nice and beds comfortable. The pool deck is wonderful and large. Plenty of shade on the sides. Amazing view. The snorkeling and kayaking are the best we have ever encountered. We highly recommend for groups up to 6 guests. We are already planning a return stay at Babylon Reef 5 STAR!
Very Nice!
5 Star all the way around...home, location and overall experience. Our first time to Cayman and we definitely nailed the accommodations. The home is in great condition and would accommodate 6 well. There were two of us, and we only went upstairs once to look around. Easy to book. Only needed text communication with the property manager to ask a couple questions. Dive shop = Ocean Frontiers. Dining = Tukka, Lighthouse, Kaibo Upstairs. Grocery and Liquor = down the road to the east across from Morritt\'s. Excursions = Stingray Sandbar at 6AM. Otherwise, just chill. Let\'s keep this place a secret though. If anyone asks where you stayed in Cayman, the correct response is \"we stayed at the Marriott on Seven Mile Beach and it was great!\". Thanks to the owners and GCVC for a great experience.
Relaxing vacation
Babylon Reef was a quiet destination to relax. The house was the perfect size for our family of five. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the many activities that were available at the house, including games, foosball, bags, and kayaks. The house is in the quieter part of the island, but an easy drive to seven mile beach if you want more options. We enjoyed several restaurants on the north and east side, as well as a Stingray City tour with Redsail Tours. The house was clean and well stocked. We did not have to contact the property manager during our stay. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for sharing your home!
A piece of paradise!
Our family recently stayed at this property for a week over Winter Break. The home was very impressive. The expansive windows allow you to fully take advantage of it\'s perfect location, and views. There were a couple minor issues (blown light bulbs, swarms of bugs in the yard), but overall the property manager, Ola, was attentive in caring for our concerns. The home is beautifully decorated and was very clean. We really enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddle board. The pool was lovely, but a little cool for our liking, as it was not heated. If you stay in this home, you must rent a vehicle. The restaurants we went to nearby were generally fair. We frequented Tukka and The Lighthouse. Our meals at Rum Point Club, and the Ristorante Papagallo (7 Mile Beach), were much more impressive in meal quality. We took a SUP tour of Starfish Point with Sweet Spot, which I would highly recommend. Additionally, we visited the Turtle Farm, which was a lot of fun. If you want to actually swim with the turtles, head to the farm in the morning, as we arrived too late in the day to have this opportunity. Our family would certainly return to the Cayman Islands. The booking process was simple and the communication was great in preparation for our trip. We would highly recommend renting from this company!
OMG, what a great vacation home!
We really enjoyed our stay at Babylon Reef house (even though I had to leave early) and Ola was fabulous attending to us. First the house. This home is ideal for a family of 4-5 people or 2 couples (though 3 could work). The house was very clean, and a great layout. The kitchen is great, with all the pots/pans and utensils needed. If stop at the grocery story on your way (Hurleys!) be sure to buy small bottles of condiments and oils, and maybe bring a few of your favorite spices. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The best part of the home is the pool, deck and inside patio area, just open the doors, link the Bose speaker to your favorite music and sit back and relax! Everyday we put the pool to good use, BBQ'd a couple of times, and even enjoyed the hammock. The beach area was pretty full of seaweed (which is commented on in other reviews) but at low tide we still enjoyed walks along the shore and found many beautiful shells. During our trip is was too windy to use the kayaks or snorkel, but the home guest book does have comments about how great the snorkeling was. As for the island, what a cool place. we drove over to the west side and experienced "city life" but the east side, even rum point, is very low key and awesome! Also, we saw many beach side homes, and what we really loved about this place was that is was very quiet. we rarely heard cars on the road, nor planes or boats, and the lots on both sides are vacant, so plenty of room between homes, if you want peace and quiet this place is it!
Outstanding
the place more the exceeded my expectations. It was perfection the villa the view the ambiance, it was a living postcard I can't wait to go back again next year. The island and the people there are the nicest and cleanest in the Caribbean thank God it still owned by the British the influence is evident.

My family and I absolutely loved everything about the villa. It was pristine lovely location the people were great grand cayman as always still one of the safest and cleanest places to visit in the Caribbean. I would recommend this to everyone who wants to get away and catch some sun if your looking for parties and and bar hopping then find something closer to seven mile beach. Keep It Secret!
Babylon Reef is one of those homes you don\'t want to write a review of because you don't want anyone to know about it! It was everything we hoped it would be - quiet, no neighbors, beautiful pool, great snorkeling right out front, kayaks on the premises, a well appointed house - what more can I say. Will definitely return unless too many others find out about this gem and I can't get a booking!
Babylon Reef was Fabulous!
We stayed labor day weekend at the Babylon Reef home, which far exceeded our expectations. The home was in great condition, recently updated (kitchen, bathrooms, floors, etc), was perfectly clean, and had all accommodating towels and toiletries. The pool and views were amazing. The pool had very nice teak furniture and a teak deck, which was all north facing making for nice sun/shade mix throughout the day. The snorkeling off the rocky beach was good and enjoyable, but it was a little more challenging to walk on the beach and shallow water since it was so rocky. Not a negative, just not as much sandy beach as expected. This time of year some local restaurants in the east end and Rum Point area were closed, but we enjoyed the eagle ray bar, tukka, over the edge, and Kurt's korner. We dove with ocean frontiers in east end and they were fun, fairly priced, and went to great sites.
A special place
Babylon Reef is a special place. The house is modern, comfortable, clean, spacious, very well equipped and maintained, along with great snorkeling nearby offshore. The beach beyond the white fence down a few steps is mostly rocky, but there is a nice stretch of sand along the entire width of the property providing plenty of space if you want to spend time close to the water. If you want to go in the water, you will need foot protection as the rocks are pretty rough for the first 10-15 feet out. We were drawn to this house by the good snorkeling and privacy. The large coral head straight out from the house offers really good shallow water snorkeling--coral and fish. You may find others snorkeling nearby as this house is a landmark on snorkeling sites as where you should enter the water for great snorkeling. As for privacy, the back area with the pool and beach inside the fence is quite private, but not as private as it may appear. That area cannot be seen from the beach as it is elevated above the beach. To the right are just heavily wooded vacant lots. However, the neighbor on the left side allows the public to use a path to the beach from the road--this path is just beyond the fence and has a full view of the Babylon property. One day we found a truck parked at the end of the path in clear view of the pool area with two fishermen in the front of the villa on the beach. This was a bit of a surprise! Overall, we loved the Babylon Reef house and highly recommend it. We will be back. Ola, thanks for renting your beautiful house to us.

Babylon reef has an empty lot on both sides. No homes.
All beaches on Grand Cayman are public up to the high water mark - same on Bermuda, BVI, Turks and any other British Territory. In reality the only people you will see on the beach are other local renters. That will happen on any beach on the island.
If you look at the pictures of Babylon Reef, you will notice nice privacy landscaping and fence, so even if there are people walking the beach, there is privacy at Babylon Reef. Of the 75 homes we manage, I can only think of two with an equal amount of privacy - and they are both 7 bedroom homes on cliffs where there is no beach for others to walk.

Perfect Peaceful Island Paradise
Everything was perfect for our family of 4! Kids are 10&12 and we had plenty of room for our 9 day stay. The house is lovely with beautiful with a beach decor and nice furniture. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and had everything we needed to cook in several meals. It is a very peaceful & quite location. Thank you for the kayaks, as we enjoyed kayaking in the calm waters. The snorkeling right off the beach was great & we saw a young stingray, cuttlefish, long spiny sea urchins & more. At night we played games, watched movies on Apple TV & Netflix. The foosball table was also lots of fun. If we make it back to Grand Cayman this would be our first choice. Thank you for providing such a wonderful vacation home!
Very Helpful Manager!
We had a wonderful week at Babylon Reef- lots of snorkeling and hanging by the pool. Loved eating at the Kaibo Yacht Club upstairs and the coffee shop downstairs. The house was really well equipped and Ola was very helpful. Also, we took the ferry from Kaibo to 7 Mile Beach - much nicer than driving.
Home Away From Home
We love your home! A great home away from home. Its high 80's here and low 40's back at home. This is truly amazing. The caves were really interesting and we loved Stingray City and Starfish Bay. Snorkling was even better and we saw a turtle. Thank you for letting us stay with you.
Hurricane Irma Sent Us to Grand Cayman
We travel annually to St. Martin's, but due to Hurricane Irma, we chose the Caymans instead. It was our 30th anniversary trip and we have stayed in MANY, many villas and Babylon Reef ranks #1!!! Unmatched location and views, everything immaculate and in working condition which is very rare! Our favorite restaurant: Tukka. The owners of this villa are truly blessed. Beautiful Home!
Beautiful home and sitting here on the North Side! We love the pool, ocean view, and access the plenty of the beach spots out on this side! We saw lots of beautiful birds and visited Stingray City and snorkeled out to the reef. Very relaxing house to spend our vacation with our close friends.
Honeymoon Vacation
My husband and I spent our honeymoon here. Babylon Reef became home in a short period of time. We enjoyed the local restaurants, pool, kayaking, and the beach. Although we traveled to 7 Mile Beach often for the activities, we would recommend this house to anyone looking to get away.

Awesome Get-Away Retreat
If you are looking to peace and quiet this is the place. Beautiful view, wonderful pool, amenities and yet close to many fun bars and great restaurants. Only minor issue was hot water was at times hard to get in showers however, the out door shower had plenty. My wife and I would love to return to this home.

Wonderful Home!
We stayed at Babylon Reef for 5 nights in September. Two couples that travel together every fall to get away from reality!
We were so happy we chose Babylon Reef! The home was nicer than the pictures - which rarely happens. The home is well appointed and the kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook-in. We also dined out at a few local spots - Tukka was our favorite!
The beach was nice and clean and the swimming and snorkeling were fantastic. We did spend a good amount of time at Rum Point with their barefoot beaches, fun drinks and lunches (recommend!).
Highlights were the snorkeling and the Silver Thatch charter to the stingray city sandbar. Captain George was the best!!! You should take a trip to the sandbar and we recommend George - he was stellar!!!
We are already planning next September and hope to return to Babylon Reef!
Repeat Visit!
We have stayed at Babylon Reef twice before and were so excited the new owners decided to rent their home!
The renovations were spectacular, transforming the home from a nice casual rental to a stunningly beautiful home. Feels larger too. The kitchen, living areas, porch, bedrooms, bathrooms were all redone. The new pool deck and enlarged pool were fantastic as well.
The snorkeling off the beach was our reason for returning. Now the home itself is another reason to return.
Great area restaurants too, Tukka, Lighthouse, Bombay Chopsticks!

Perfect getaway!
This house was in an ideal location. You could reach Rum Point, Kaibo or the East End in a matter of minutes. It was a 40-45 minute trip to Georgetown or Seven Mile Beach, but totally manageable when we wanted to venture out to visit the touristy spots. We found ourselves not wanting to venture far because the house was CLEAN, had a pool, hammock, and outdoor shower not to mention a well-stocked kitchen. The house was spacious with plenty of seating to stretch out. Nights were quiet with comfortable bedding and temperatures. On the rainy evenings, we used our Netflix account on the AppleTV. We even had a cornhole competition & championship throughout our stay. Ola was very responsive & answered all questions in a timely manner. We've traveled quite a bit, renting homes over the last 8 years and I don't write reviews often, but this is one home which I will definitely re-book upon a return trip to the island. It was truly easy to enjoy being a family. You can't go wrong with Babylon Reef!

Booking Rules

- Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
- Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.
Villa Cleaning & Sanitation
All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

Getting Around
A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island.
For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls.
